LATEST NEWS - On October 27, 2011 Governor Deval Patrick vetoed a provision in the Supplemental Budget, eliminating what is known as the 10 day bed hold.

But....our Legislators came back with an Emergency Supplemental Budget that restored the bed hold until June 30, 2012, the end of our current fiscal year. Click here to read more

In July, 2010, the case of VICTOR v. MASS EXECUTIVE OFFICE OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES was decided. This case definitively resolved the issue of how to protect your assets by using a testamentary trust and completely eliminate the 5 year look back period.
